Saint Seiya is a team based fighting anime with a heavy mythological theme. The characters are easy to understand and have distinct enough personalities as to readily tell who's who. Character development is strong enough to clearly show what drives the Bronze Saints, the group our protagonists fall into. However, don't mistake classes of saints for limits of power because this show makes it a point to display the meaninglessness behind some titles. Collection Two starts a story sequence and leaves it unfinished, but the conflicts we see and characters we learn about more than make this set a winner. For best outcome, watch the first thirty episodes before this, although it's not absolutely vital, and avoid the dub, which is definitely a contender for worst in anime history.
Saint Seiya rose quickly to a fave series for me while viewing these episodes, so if you're hungry for oldschool, epic fights, and you like mythology, throw these discs in your player immediately.
